While nearly every student organization
at Duquesne University is involved in some form
of community service, there are several organizations
whose specific purpose is to promote and engage
in community service. They range from Greek letter
organizations to collegiate branches of professional
community organizations. Each provides a wealth
of opportunities for students to become involved
in making a difference in the community.
Alpha Phi Omega
Alpha Phi Omega is a National Service Fraternity
founded in the principles of Leadership, Friendship,
and Service. Pi Chi Chapter at Duquesne University
was founded on May 15, 1966. Pi Chi has been active
since its founding and has had over 350 brothers

DU Circle K
Duquesne University Circle K is a service organization
composed of students willing to volunteer their
time to benefit Duquesne and the city of Pittsburgh

DUV Council
The DUV Council serves as a student advisory
council to the DUV Coordinator. DUV Council also
serves as a resource to student organizations.
DUV will assist all organization in planning and
participating in service opportunities. All Service
Vice-Presidents and Service Chairs are invited
to attend DUV Council Meetings.

Rotoract
Rotaract is an international organization of service
clubs for men and women aged 18-30 that fosters
leadership and responsible citizenship, encourages
high ethical standards in business, and promotes
international understanding and peace.
