University-Community Collaborative Project

Addressing the problem of education, Duquesne undertook a project, beginning in late 2001, that was not part of the university's original proposal to HUD. At the initiative of Dr. Emma Mosley, who responded to a request from the principal of A. Leo Weil Technology Academy, an elementary school in the Hill, faculty members and administrators from Duquesne agreed to read in class rooms at Weil School monthly.
